Persistence and Development:Survival difficulties and development strategies of rural junior middle school

我国基础教育发展至今在取得一定成绩的同时,仍存在很多亟待解决的问题,尤其是农村基础教育发展依旧面临着重重困难。农村基础教育很大程度上关系着我国整体教育水平的发展。我国正逐步向全面现代化过渡,长期处在社会转型期,农村基础教育发展处于矛盾且边缘化的位置,其中存在着如教育观念落后、教育资源分配不均、教育财政投入不均、师资力量较弱、农村初中优秀生源流失、自愿性辍学等诸多问题,限制了农村基础教育的发展。这不仅是某一所学校、某一个地区所面临的困境,而是目前农村基础教育中的普遍现象。对此应正确认识现状、克服困难,全社会共同努力,彻底改变农村基础教育在我国整体教育水平发展中的"短板"角色。

The development of basic education in China has made some achievements, but there are still many problems to be solved, especially the development of rural basic education still facing many difficulties. Rural basic education is related to the development of our country＇s education level. Our country is transiting to the comprehensive modernization gradually, in the period of social transition for a long time. Rural basic e- ducation development is in the position of the contradictions and marginalized, there are many problems such as the backwardness of educational concept, the uneven distribution of educational resources, the uneven of fi- nancial investment in education, the weakness of teachers strength, the loss of rural junior middle school stu- dents and some students dropout voluntary. The above problems all restricted the development of rural basic education. This is not only a school, a region facing the dilemma, but the basic phenomenon of rural basic e- ducation. We should understand the present situation correctly, make joint efforts of the whole society to over- come the difficulties, and change the ＂short board＂ role of rural basic education in the whole education devel- opment of our country completely.
