Comparison and Prospect of Reading Promotion on Both Sides of the Taiwan Straits

[目的/意义]为促进海峡两岸全民阅读提供参考。[方法/过程]基于网络调查和文献调查,阐述海峡两岸全民阅读现状,并对海峡两岸阅读推广的推动力、推广形式以及推广活动进行比较分析。[结果/结论]政府应加大对全民阅读的资金投入、创新图书馆服务方式、培植民间阅读组织、重视阅读推广的理论研究、加强海峡两岸阅读推广合作。

[Purpose/significance]The paper is to provide reference for promoting nationwide reading on both sides of the Taiwan Straits. [Method/process ]The paper bases on Internet survey and literature survey to elaborate status quo of nationwide reading on both sides of the Taiwan Straits, compares and analyzes driving forces, promoting forms and activities of reading promotion on both sides of the Taiwan Straits. [Result/conclusion]The government should increase funds for nationwide reading, innovate library service mode, cultivate folk reading organization, pay attention to theory study of reading promotion, and strengthen cooperation of reading promotions on both sides of the Taiwan Straits.
