AntConc软件在英语专四作文教学中的应用

An Application of AntConc to the Writing of Test for English Majors-Band 4

语料库语言学的发展使写作教学再次受到学者的关注。为研究英语专四优秀作文的文本特征,本文借助语料库分析软件AntConc3.5,系统分析了2010-2016共60篇专四优秀作文。结果表明,优秀的专四作文在选题方面都和学生相关,其次,优秀的专四作文多使用中低量值的情态词、第三人称代词,并能巧妙运用逻辑连接词,该研究对今后的写作教学具有现实的指导意义。

With the development of corpus linguistics, the teaching of writing attracts scholars＇ attention again. In order to study the text characteristics of the writing of Test for English Majors-Band 4（TEM 4）, the paper systematically analyzes 60 excellent writings of TEM 4 through corpus analysis software---AntConc 3.5. The results of the study indicate that： the topics of excellent writings of TEM 4 are related to students; in addition, excellent writings of TEM 4 often use modal verbs which are low or median positive and the third person, and logical conjunctions are used skillfully in those writings, which is conducive to the teaching of writing.
