This article describes and analyses the function of Containment Sump Filter which activated after the serious accidentoccurred in nuclear power plant and get into recycling stage,used to collect recycling water and prevent the debris going into RIS and EAS pipe loop,ensure the RIS pump and EAS pump has sufficient NPSH.This paper focuses on the structure of Containment Sump Filter,and the collection with the suction inlet of RTS pumps and EAS pumps,the assembly and fixation of eve~ module,and make a deeply analysis on how the new type Contaimnent Sump Filter ensure the safety function by increasing the filter＇s area.
