A Review of The History and Research Status of Chinese Loanwords

借词的出现极大地丰富了词汇系统,同时也为我们的思想文化注入了新鲜的血液,更新着我们的价值观念。借词的定义和分类经过几十年的探讨大致定型,但仍有学者提出不同的见解。汉语借词借用历史可追溯到春秋战国时期,不间断的中华文明使大量的古代借词得以沿用至今。尽管如此,现阶段的借词研究在语音方面仍有待探究之处。

Loanwords enrich the system of the lexicon. Meanwhile, the loanwords updates our culture and ideology as well. The definition and classification of loanwords are approximately stereotyped after decades, but there are still scholars hold the opposite view. Chinese loanwords＂ history can be traced back to the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods, uninterrupted Chinese civilization makes a lot of ancient loanwords useful so far. Nevertheless, today＇s loanwords research still need to be studied in phonetics.
