研究生学位论文英文摘要翻译中的问题与应对

Problems and Countermeasures in the Translation of Postgraduate Degree Thesis

学位论文的英文摘要是学位管理的基本要求,也是学术交流、资源共享和学术反腐的重要保障。近些年来由于重视性不足,导致我国研究生学位论文英文摘要的撰写出现了诸多问题。主要表现在英文标题翻译的不规范性、时态和语态使用的不准确性、英文摘要与中文摘要直译的错误性、英文翻译工具的粗略滥用等。而问题的解决则需要研究生重视国家科技论文管理的规定,研究生导师的监督,高校学位管理委员会的审核。如此,学位论文英文摘要的问题才能够得到很好地解决。

English abstract of degree thesis is a basic requirement of the degree management, and is an important guarantee for academic exchange, resource sharing and academic anti-corruption. In recent years, due to lack of attention, many problems exist in the writing of English abstracts of postgraduate thesis, such as nonstandard translation of English titles, inaccurate use of tenses and voices, mistakes in literal translation of English and Chinese abstracts, and abuse of translation tools. To solve these problems, it requires postgraduates＇ much attention to the management rules of national scientific and technological papers and accurate translation of thesis abstracts, strict supervision of their tutors and review of the University Degree Management Committee.
