摘要
白介素-21(IL-21)作为参与固有免疫和获得性免疫的多效性细胞因子,在机体的组织和细胞中分布广泛,对多种细胞的免疫调节功能起重要作用。IL-21主要来源于CD4^+T淋巴细胞,感染艾滋病病毒(HIV)后IL-21会显著降低,抗反转录病毒治疗后可部分恢复;低水平的IL-21在维持和调节HIV感染者的T细胞、自然杀伤细胞及B细胞的免疫应答中均发挥一定的调节作用,因此,IL-21可能是HIV的感染及疾病进展过程中非常重要的生物标志物。文章就IL-21在HIV感染中的作用作以下综述。
Interleukin21 is a cytokine with broad pleiotropic actions of the diverse effects of IL-21 on different cell types,and IL-21 regulates both innate and adaptive immune responses.CD4~+T cells are the major producers of IL-21 and also the main targets of HIV infection.IL-21 is highly depleted during HIV infection but ART initiation restores partially the levels of IL-21.The role of IL-21 has recently come into focus in sustaining and regulating T cell,NK cell and B cell responses during HIV infection.IL-21 may serve as a useful biomarker for monitoring HIV disease progression.In this review,we provide an overview of the effect of IL-21 on the immune responses of HIV infection.
