A World of Ecological Progress in 2030——On the Trend of Future Civilization from Four World Events

十八大提出生态文明,是顺应2008年以来出现的世界文明转型大势的重大战略决策。生态文明作为引领21世纪人类迈向未来的新时代文明,是展望2030未来世界文明发展大趋势的制高点。从时代至高点展望,对未来人类文明走向有重大影响的四大世界性事件值得我们关注。一是2008年是世界迈向生态文明的元年,二是未来10年将是工业文明危机全面爆发时期;三是"三+龙头技术"革命是将人类带入新时代的革命;四是中国将成为世界迈向生态文明时代的引领者。

The 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China （CPC） proposed fostering a sound ecological environment, which is a major strategic decision conforming to the trend of world civilization transformation since 2008. Ecological progress is an idea leading the mankind toward a bright future in the 21st century as well as a high ground for looking into the general development trend of the world civilizations. We should pay attention to four major world events which have a significant impact on world civilization. First, 2008 is the world＇s first year of ecological progress; second, the next decade will see the outbreak of industrial civilization crisis; third, the ＂three ＋ leading technology＂ revolution will lead the human world into a new era; fourth, China will become the leader in the world of sound ecological environment.
