Analysis of Peasants' Democratic Consciousness during the Process of Social Transiton --An Investigative Report of the Democratic Cosciousness of Suichuan County

以江西省遂川县为个案 ,以实地调查的详实资料为依据 ,从地域环境、文化素质和经济发展水平等方面分析和考察了在市场化过程中制约农民民主意识转型的主要因素 。

On the basis of the firsthand invesgative materials in rural areas of Suichuan County,Jiangxi Province, this paper mainly analyzes the core factors, such as economic level; geographical environment; cultural and educational status quo, which seriously hinder the improvement of the democratic process in the rural areas. Accordingly, the writers put forward some suggestions or measures on how to develop the rural democracy and strengthen the peasants' democratic consciousness during the social transitional course.
