A short sketch is an art of language,of which vocabulary is an essential part.This paper,therefore,from the perspective of vo-cabulary,tries to analyze the humor of language in Short Sketch Donation,and illustrates how to achieve the effect of humor by artful use of the sound,form,meaning and style of the vocabulary.The attempt will be made from the following five areas: 1.Homophonic use 2.Semantic misinterpretation 3.Irregular collocation 4.Mimic expression 5.Mixed styles
