英汉中动结构认知解读

Cognitive Interpretation of the English Middle Construction and Chinese Construction

尽管汉语"中动结构"这一概念在学界确立不久,然而越来越多的研究证明:中动结结构作为跨语言普遍存在已是不容质疑的事实。各语言中中动结构并没有独特或完全一致(uniform)的句法,具有跨语言普遍性的是中动语义(middle semantics)。该文从认知的角度,以构式语法为理论基础,分析英汉"中动构式(Middle Construction)"语义特征、语义限制及其认知理据并进行对比研究,探寻中动结构在两种语言中的异同,可以加深我们对这一语言现象的理解,也能深入了解英、汉语的不同语言属性及其认知理据。

Middle construction's cross-langauage existence is undoubtedly universal language phenomenon,in spite of the newly acceptance of the notion---Chinese middle construction.Middle constructions in these languages are not represented by unique or totally uniform syntax form but the semantic property is what they share on cross-language universality.This thesis,based on construction grammar,attempts to make analysis and comparation of middle constrution's semantic properties,syntax restriction and cognitive motivation both in English and Chinese,exploiting the similarities and differences between English middle construction and Chinese middle construction.
