生态女性主义批判父权制对自然支配,强调女性与自然之间亲和关系,赞赏女性对自然关爱。从生态女性主义的角度解读薇拉·凯瑟《啊,拓荒者!》,发现了小说中约翰·波格森等父权制人物对自然的支配,以及大地女神似的女主人公亚历山大与自然的亲和关系,并指出对自然大地女神似的关爱是自然走出父权制控制的出路。

Ecofeminism criticizes the patriarchal domination of nature,emphasizes an affinity and alliance between women and nature,appreciates women's care for nature.By reinterpreting Willa Cather's novel O Pioneers!,the article analyses the patriarchal domination of nature by such patriarchal male characters as John Bergson,and the heroine,like the Earth Goddess,Alexandra's affinity and identification with nature,and points out that the Earth Goddess's care for nature is the way for nature out of patriarchal domination.
