This paper first explores the significance of lexical errors and indicate that it is inevitable and of great importance in the process of second language learning. Among these, lexical errors in writings are the most important. Then the paper proposes some approaches to the correction of lexical errors, which are self-correction, peer-correction and teacher-correction.
