摘要
大学英语课堂中的沉默现象被视为师生之间交流的失败。沉默分为积极沉默和消极沉默,文章仅从教师教法的角度来总结学生消极沉默产生的原因,进而提出了一些改进措施,以提高大学英语教学质量。
The phenomenon of the students' silence in college English classroom is regarded as a failure to communicate between teachers and students. Silence consists of positive one and negative one, the paper only summarizes the reasons which lead to the students’ negative silence from the perspective of teaching methods and proceeds to bring forward some innovative measures in order to improve the quality of college English teaching.
