电影字幕中文化负载词的翻译研究(英文)

Study on Translation of Culture-loaded Words in Film Subtitle

由于电影字幕的翻译受到时间和空间两个因素的限制,传统的直译加注释的方法不再适合文化负载词的翻译。为了使目的语观众能够充分理解电影的内容,更好地达到交际目的,在翻译文化负载词的时候,应采取诸如替代、省略或借词等翻译方法。

Compared with other forms of translation,the history of film subtitle translation is rather short,and the translation of cultureloaded words in film subtitle is much shorter.Due to the limitation of both space and time,the traditional literal translation combined with annotation is no longer suitable for the translation of culture-loaded words in film subtitles.The present study is a target-oriented research.Attempt will be made to find out some applicable translation strategies such as substitution,omission and borrowing which can be applied to the practice of culture-loaded words in subtitle translation.A descriptive-explanatory method will be adopted in this study.
