摘要
为了解目前大学新生的英语学习状况,提高英语教学效果,采用自编问卷分别调查了昆明理工大学2008及2009部分新生,并利用SPSS11.5统计分析所收集的数据,结果发现:1)大学新生说、写和译等语言输出能力明显弱于听、读等语言输入能力;2)应试依然是主要学习目;3)他们的自我效能感高;4)对老师的依赖性较高;5)他们了解不少学习方法但是实际学习方法单调等。针对这些问题,给出了一些相应的教学策略。
In order to learn freshmen's English learning actualities and improve the effectiveness of English teaching,a self-compiled questionnaire is used to investigate some freshmen in 2008 and 2009 in KUST and the data from the investigation are analyzed with SPSS 11.5. The results are:1) compared with language-input skills,the language-input skills of listening and reading,the freshmen are obviously incompetent in language-output skills,the skills of speaking,writing and translating; 2) their main learning motive is also to pass examinations; 3) their self-efficacy is high; 4) they depend more on teachers; and 5) they know more learning methods but their actual learning methods are quite few. Some relevant teaching strategies are given to these problems.
