湖南省旅游公示语翻译研究——以韶山公示语翻译为例

Translation of Public Signs of Tourist Areas in Hunan Province:Based on the Examples of the Translation of Public Signs in Shaoshan

随着中国与世界的接轨,汉英公示语翻译变得越来越重要。该文以韶山公示语翻译为例,对湖南省旅游公示语翻译现状进行了分析,总结出存在的几大问题,如英文公示语的缺省及英文公示语的欠规范,并提出湖南省中小城市公示语的汉英翻译应该注重三大原则,即目的性,简洁性,和美感原则。

At present,the Chinese-English translation of public signs is becoming more and more important. Based on the samples in Shaoshan City,this paper analyzes the present situation of the translation of public signs in Hunan Province. After discussing the problems,the author puts forward three principles to translate public signs,that is,skopos rule,terseness and aesthetics.
