专业英语教材建设浅析

On ESP Textbook Compiling

高校专业英语教材是专业英语教学的重要组成部分。目前,各院校根据各自的学科及专业设置,编写了部分专业英语教材。然而,与基础英语教材建设相比,专业英语教材建设还相对滞后。该文旨在探讨专业英语教材编写应把握的以学习者为中心的教材编写理念,并论及在对学生进行需求分析,对教材进行适用性评价的前提下,在选材过程中着重考虑专业英语教材建设中的真实性、多样性、趣味性等原则,力求使专业英语教材建设更趋专业化、科学化和制度化。

ESP textbook is critical part ESP teaching. At present,series of ESP textbooks are published in Chinese colleges and universities,according to their specific needs of teaching. However,compared with basic English textbooks,the development of ESP textbooks is still on the way. The paper is to analyze learner-oriented consideration when compiling ESP textbooks. Needs Analysis and textbook evaluation are also talked about in order to make ESP textbooks materials more authentic,interesting and scientific.
