中国古诗词翻译赏析教学:迈向非英语专业大学英语翻译教学的一步

中国古诗词翻译如一朵奇葩,虽饱受可译与不可译之争,却仍借由翻译能者之手传遍世界,让各地人们认识其魅力而至耳熟能详。然而,因大学英语对于翻译课程的不作特别要求,这朵奇葩未能在非英语专业大学生中绽放光彩。该文以元代马致远《天净沙·秋思》为例,结合中国古诗词翻译教学在非英语专业大学英语教学的重要性与可行性的相关论证,以至强调其在促进学生英语学习兴趣、增加英语文化知识,乃至普及翻译知识方面不可忽视的作用。此教学方法的探讨将致力于对非英语专业大学英语教学中的翻译教学研究。

Ancient Chinese poetry,a great spiritual wealth of the Chinese nation,the translation of which is a wonderful work in translation.Although suffering the controversy translated or not translated,the translation products are well known to the world.However,due to the translation courses of College English for no special requirements,the students majoring in non-English have no chance to appreciate the luster of translation versions' bloom.This research,is taking Ma Zhiyuan's 'Tian Jing Sha·Qiu Si' as an example,basing on the importance and feasibility of the Translation teaching strategies in non-English majors as well as to intrigue student's learning enthusiasm in English,and aiming at the horizon of foreign cultural knowledge broadening and the purpose of popularizing the knowledge translation fulfilling.
