随着我国经济的不断发展和对外开放程度的逐步提高,中英文对照的名片使用越来越广。然而,遍观名片的英语译文,笔者发现错译、误译、随便乱译的现象非常突出。因此,该文将通过列举大量的实例,详细介绍名片中姓名和公司地址英译的技巧,以指导名片的翻译,提高翻译质量。

The bilingual business cards in both Chinese and English are used more and more widely with the constant development of our economy and the continuous upgrading of the opening-up.However,various kinds of mistakes especially in the name and address are found out in the C-E translation.Therefore,this paper proposes some translation skills of names and addresses to improve the translation,and every skill will be thoroughly illustrated through several examples.
