摘要
为了探究新题型TEM4听力理解中对话、短文和新闻报道三部分难易程度的差异,调查以天津科技大学外国语学院的40名学生为研究样本,以2005年至2008年TEM4试题为调查工具,对四次考试听力理解各部分的难易程度进行科学统计分析,结果表明:对话和短文两部分难度相当,而新闻报道的难度则明显高于对话和短文。在此基础上探讨了造成上述三部分难易程度差异的原因,并对英语听力课教学提出合理建议。
This paper aims to find out the differences in the difficulty levels of Conversations, Passages and News Broadcasts in Listening Comprehension of TEM4 new pattern. 40 students from the School of Foreign Languages in Tianjin University of Science and Technology are chosen as the subjects, whose performances in the four TEM4 from the year 2005 to 2008 have been collected, and the analysis of the data shows that there is no statistically significant difference between the difficulty levels of Conversations and the Passages, and News Broadcasts is significantly more difficult than the other two sections. By discussing the possible factors that cause the differences in the difficulty levels of the three sections, the paper provides some suggestions for English teaching.
