语言行进路上的宗教影响:儒教之于汉语与基督教之于英语的比较

The Influence of Religion on Language:the Comparison between Confucianism on Chinese and Christianity on English

语言历来被看作各个民族文化的一面镜子,而宗教则被认为当作文化各个层面整合的结果和动力。事实上宗教与语言是同根而生的两股分支,宗教与作为文化载体的语言之间有着千缠百结的不解之缘。儒教与汉语,基督教与英语分别作为当今最具影响力的两种宗教和语言,前者之于后者的影响在一定程度上甚至改变后者的发展路径。这篇文章从语言和宗教的关系为切入点,分别从文字和句法两个方面着重探讨了儒教之于汉语、基督教之于英语的影响。

Languages,since they were born,have been compared to the mirrors of different nations;on the other hand,religions also have been marked by the result and impetus of the cultural integrations in various levels.Actually,as the two cultural branches of the same root,religions and languages,the cultural carrier,have always entangled with each other.Confucianism and Chinese,Christianity and English,are the most influential religions and languages at present time.The influence exerted by the former,to some degree,even redirects the development of the latter.This paper,based on the relationship between religions and languages,from the two aspects:word and syntax,analyses the influence on Chinese and English,respectively exerted by Confucianism and Christianity.
