摘要
The close relationship between language and culture determines the unseparability of language teaching from the corresponding culture.The depressing state of English teaching in China,to a large extent,is due to the separation of our teaching from English culture.Just on the basis of this,the paper first touches on the relationship between language and culture,then mentions the importance of culture teaching in TEFL(Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and in the end expounds how to carry out culture teaching in TEFL.
