英语考证现象的调研与反思

Investigation on the Acceptance of SIA,TEM and BEC Certificates in the Yangtze River Delta

在经济全球化的浪潮下,英语作为国际通用语言在中国市场备受青睐,各种英语证书应运而生。该研究以长三角地区较为流行的英语证书(英语专业四八级证书TEM、上海外语口译证书SIA、剑桥商务英语证书BEC)为调研对象,1)通过调查用人单位对上述三种证书的认可度,为英语专业学生考证决策提供参考;2)通过证书认可度调研对高校英语专业课程设置进行反思。

With the sweeping trend of economic globalization,English,the most widely used language,has been attached increasingly heavy weight in Chinese market.And thus,a multitude of English certificates have come into being.Within the Yangtze River Delta,TEM,SIA and BEC-Test for English Major,Shanghai Interpretation Accreditation and Business English Certificate-have gained considerably higher popularity.Therefore,this thesis,through careful survey and analysis on the acceptance of the three certificates among enterprises,aims to 1) provide sound reference for the oncoming English major students on whether taking the tests or not and 2) call for reflection in English Major curriculum design.
