安德鲁·马韦尔作为玄学派的代表人之一,其优秀诗歌数量少但很有震撼力和影响力。该文从主题、意象与夸张、逻辑推理、用典几个方面对他的爱情代表作《致他的娇羞的女友》进行赏析,以此证明该诗的确是玄学派诗人得力诗作之一。
Andrew Marvell is a representative figure of Metaphysics. Though few in quantity, his excellent poems have great influence in the history of literature. By analysing its theme, image and exaggeration, logical reasoning and allusion, this article proves that To His Coy Mistress is undoubtedly a masterpiece of matephysical poetry.
