语言是文化的载体,也是认知的一面镜子,透过一个民族的语言就可以透视该民族对世界的理解和认知。词汇是语言中最活跃的部分,也最能直观反映语言与文化认知的关系。因此,从文化认知的角度出发,通过对汉英两种语言词义民族性的分析,将对词义民族性的形成进行认知阐释。

Language is the carrier of culture, a mirror of cognition. The language of a nation reflects the thought and understanding of the nation towards the whole world. Lexicon is the most active part of a language that can most directly reflect the relationship between language and culture and cognition. By analyzing the national characteristics of Chinese and English lexical meaning from cultural and cognitive perspective, the creation and development of lexical national features will be better understood.
