As a special language phenomenon, metaphor is pervasive in our daily life. People use metaphor to define concepts, describe natural disasters and explain unfamiliar things or phenomena in Nature. This paper will apply the abstract metaphor theory to every aspects of natural life and social life by demonstrating the examples.
