摘要
作家柯灵的散文《巷》,充分体现出中国散文的选词精致,格调舒缓,描写细腻等特征,而由于语言之间的差异以及文化背景的不同,散文的翻译有着相当的难度。张培基教授通过对两种语言的娴熟驾驭,为读者提供了该文章的英译本。根据刘世聪教授提出的翻译美学的理论,探索张培基教授在翻译此文时,如何在译文中尽可能再造和阐释原文中的美学特点和美质。
The Lane,written by Ke Ling,is a good representative of Chinese prose,which is featured by carefully chosen words,gentle and quiet pattern and the minute description.But because of the difference between two languages and the cultural gap,it is very hard to translate the prose from source language to target language.Prof.Zhang Peiji published his translation for this prose.This paper focused on the analysis of The Lane translated by Prof.Zhang Peiji in accordance with the Translation Aesthetics put forward by Prof.Liu Shicong,and examined how to maintain and recreate the artisticness in the translation.
