摘要
Based on systemic functional linguistics, this study carries out a comparative analysis of the Arab News and the CNN's reportage on the Farah Incident. Through the analysis, this study shows that there exist striking differences between the representations of the Farah Incident in the two news media. It is argued that these differences are not arbitrary but ideologically motivated.
