布莱尔访谈中的间接话语策略分析

Critical Analysis of Political Interview: the Language Strategy Used by Interviewee and Interviewer

该文在GRICE的会话合作性原则的基础上,对时任英国首相布莱尔的访谈进行批判性话语分析,探讨被访者的话语语用功能和言语外行为。发现电视访谈对话区别于一般性日常生活对话,被访者倾向使用模糊语言策略,如闪躲回答,绕圈子回答或长篇幅的解释性回答等策略等,目的是减少面子威胁行为和保持良好的公众形象,同时保持礼貌原则使会话进行下去。

In this article, base on speech act theories as Grice's Maxim and conversational Cooperative Principle, the author analyses a face-to-face interview from the perspective of strategies involved. It is found that face-to-face interview differs from other daily life coversation. It's a bout of arguments, in which interviewees try to outwit their rivals. Language strategies such as evasion of topic, circumlocution and extended speech are used reach goal.
