Chunks are different from words in traditional sense as they are of both the words and sentence characteristics which appear frequently in language with relatively changeless forms,meanings and contexts.Based on the analysis of the features of chunks and the forming of oral English,this paper introduce the theory of chunk to the teaching of oral English to promote the efficiency of oral English teaching and help the students achieve influent and native-like oral English.
