该文采用内容分析法和文本分析法对2002年和2007年《今日美国》上有关姚明的报道进行了定量和定性的分析,从而分析出这家报纸以及美国主流媒体对姚明议题的呈现方式和呈现形象。

On the basis of the content and the text analysis, the thesis focuses on the selected coverage published on the U.S.A Today from January 1, 2002 to December 31, 2002 and analyzes the reasons for its reporting styles as well as its contents. All efforts come to the aim of exploring how to report actively on sports stars for the Chinese print media, which will further improve the development of China’s sports culture and enhance the communication of sports events.
