The Application of Multi-media and Teaching Reform of English Literature

传统的英美文学教学以繁冗的课本纸质材料和资料讲解为主要教学内容,教师单调的口授式为主要教学模式,这种单调和繁冗特点,大大降低了学生学习的主动积极性,而学生的被动与排除感在与日俱增。面对这一问题与挑战,该文提出:在新的形势下,以学生为中心和教师为主导的教学理念为指导,尝试建立校园网络为学生提供课前与课后自学交流平台,结合电脑投影等多媒体硬件和综合文本、图片、电影视频等应用的PowerPoint现代多媒体教学软件使用来改进传统的教学媒体,推进英美文学教学改革步伐。

The lengthy and tedious explanation based on textbook paper materials along with the orally monotonous and dull instruction by teacher in traditional English Literature teaching are undermining students' initiative and accumulating their repulsion inadvertently.In light of this problematic challenge,this paper elucidates the application of multi-media,which includes campus LAN for teacher-student communication platform,computer assisted hardware and auxiliary PowerPoint software with text,picture and video display functions involved,into the amelioration and improvement of traditional teaching methods,led by student-centered and teacher-oriented teaching norm under new circumstances,with the aim of speeding up the reform of the English literature teaching.
