Strategies Analysis on Improving the Spoken English of Students from Media Independent Colleges

随着大学英语教学改革的深化,越来越多的独立学院开始对大学英语课程进行系列改革和创新,对非英语专业学生口语表达能力的教学也提出了新的见解和思考,传媒类独立学院非英语专业学生口语能力日益受到关注。概括分析了传媒类独立学院非英语专业学生大学英语口语课教学现状,并从五方面分析了其原因,最后就改革思路及提高策略进行了初步探讨,提出了培养具有传媒特色的应用型复合型人才的新目标。

With the deepening of college English teaching reform, more and more independent colleges have conducted a series of reform and innovation concerning college English curriculum and put forward new ideas and thoughts on improving non-English majors' spoken English. Improving the spoken English of students from media independent colleges has become a focus. This paper analyzed the current situation of non-English major's spoken English class in media independent college, explored the reasons from five aspects, put forward some reform thinking and improving strategies and proposed the new target of developing applied and compound talents with media characteristic.
