The poem O Captain! My Captain! is a good poem written by the great American poet, Walt Whitman. It is a eulogy written on the death of Abraham Lincoln. In this poem the poet expresses his sadness at the death of the great leader and expresses his great love of his beloved leader. This paper is to have a stylistic analysis of the poem by observing its phonological, lexical, semantic and syntactic features.
