On the Relation between Word Chunks and Expressing Competence in English

研究统计表明英语学习者表达能力欠佳是因为本族语负迁移现象所致。由于语块是建立应用型语言编码并消除负迁移影响的现实途径之一,本次研究尝试用语块来训练公安海警学院学生以期证明用预制语块可以有效地帮助学生获得得当的英语能力。

It's found statistically in some research that a poor English expressing competence is due to negative transfer caused by the native language of a learner. As word chunk is a practical way to build up feasible language coding and rule out the impact of negative transfer , this research attempts to get some Chinese students trained in word chunks so as to prove it is effective to help them build up favorable competence in English with prefabricated chunks.
