随着互联网的不断发展,网络语言也在经历动态的变化,具体表现在新词汇的诞生和广泛使用上。"给力"一词的迅速流行和广泛传播,体现了网络文化和网络语言的活力和影响力。该文从语言学角度对该词进行了语义和词源分析,试探索其产生的语言学机制。通过对其句法功能的分析,发现该词的使用具有较大的灵活性,并且具有模糊语义的特征。总结该词的语用修辞功能,认为其广泛传播和使用的深层语言学动因在于它的模糊语义特征和良好的语用修辞效果。

With the development of the internet, cyber language is going through a dynamic changing process, in which new words come into use and are well received by the public. Recently, the popular online word 'gěi lì' is widely used by people in daily life as a result of the powerful and influential cyber culture and its language. In this paper, a linguistic research of this new word is performed. By analyzing its semantic meaning and origin, we get to know the linguistic mechanism for its origin. With an analysis of its sentence function, it is found out that people's use of 'gěi lì' is of great variety. Besides, 'gěi lì' takes on a character of fuzzy language. After a detailed study of its pragmatic and rhetoric function, it is concluded that the deep linguistic reason for its popularity lies in its fuzziness in language use and its efficient pragmatic and rhetoric effects.
