语言生态学视角下的美国印第安语言研究(英文)

A Study of American Indian Languages from the Perspective of the Ecology of Language

随着全球化进程的加速,世界范围内许多少数民族语言面临严重威胁。语言生态学是一门研究语言与环境之间的相互作用的学科,强调语言物种的多样化和对少数民族濒危语言的保护。印第安语言作为美洲大陆的本土语言,而如今在各种社会因素的影响下逐渐走向灭绝之路。该文将从语言生态学角度对美国印第安语的现状进行分析,并对保护印第安语的语言规划提出了几点建议。

With the acceleration of the globalization process, many minority languages worldwide are confronted with severe threat. The ecology of language is a discipline that studies the interaction between language and environments and it especially focuses on the promotion of the diversity of languages and the protection of endangered monority languages. As the indigenous languages of the American continent, American Indian languages are in danger of extinction under the influnces of various social factors. This paper will analyze the status quo of American Indian languages from the perspective of the ecology of language and provide some suggestions for its future language planning as well.
