高职院校非英语专业学生设置ESP课程的必要性

The Necessity of Setting ESP Curriculum in Higher Vocational non-English Majors

为了加快教育思想和课程设置的改革,适应社会发展对新型人才的需要,该文通过对ESP的定义和特征进行分析,从三方面论述了在高职高专开设ESP课程的必要性,提出了ESP课程的设置必须注重学科之间的学习与合作,满足人才市场和学生不同的择业需求。

In order to speed up the reform of the educational thinking and curriculum,to adapt to development of social needs for new talent,this article analyzes the definition and characteristics of the ESP,elaborates the necessity of setting the ESP curriculum in higher vocational from three aspects,proposes that setting ESP curriculum must focus on interdisciplinary learning and collaboration,to meet the demand for different careers of job market and student.
