A Tentative Study of Discourse Anaphora:A Perspective of Pragmatic Adaptation

回指问题是现代语言学理论研究的热点课题之一。语言学各领域对回指问题已经进行了大量研究,但仍存在诸多争议和理论局限性。回指的选择和释义涉及句法、语义、语用、认知以及社会文化规约等诸多因素,涉及话语参与者双方和语境的互动。要全面、合理地解释它,必须把相关因素整合到一个理论体系中进行综合考量。维索尔伦的语用顺应论为我们提供了这样一个理论整合的框架。

Anaphora is one of the dominant issues in contemporary linguistic study.A great deal of researches in anaphora have been conducted in various domains in Linguistics.However,there are still many disagreements and theoretical limitations.Anaphoric choice and resolution involves so many factors as those in syntax,semantics,pragmatics and cognition,as well as the social culture conventions.Furthermore,it also involves the interaction of the two-side participants and the context in communication.Thus,all the related factors are expected to be integrated into a theory system for a comprehensive consideration.Verschueren's pragmatic theory of adaptation offers such a theoretical framework.
