摘要
The article focuses on some points of view in disagreement with Bley-Vroman's. In the author's opinion, different from the L1 learning, UG is not or partially accessible to the adult foreign language learners. Some evidence is exposed to support the author's hypothesis. The author will illustrate this from the following aspects: the concept of UG, the relation of L2 learning and problem-solving, UG accessibility, critical period, comprehensible input and interlanguage.
