中美科幻小说中的个人与族群价值观比较——以《冷酷的方程式》及其改写为例

Individual and Collective Values in Chinese and American Science Fiction:Take The Cold Equations and Its Adaptations as Examples

本文以美国科幻小说《冷酷的方程式》及其改写文本为例,兼及其他相关价值思考的典型文本,考察了科幻小说家如何预设生存危机情境、并由此呈现出的个人与族群价值倾向,认为:一、作家经验、民族历史及时代语境的不同,决定了小说文本中价值观念的差异;二、科幻小说中基于危机思维模式下的"末日"道德观,并不适用于和平社会,只有保持清醒理性的思考,才能建构真正具有主体性和生命活力的当代中国文化价值体系。

Based on the American science fiction The Cold Equations and its adaptations, and other typical texts which have the similar thinking of the values as in The Cold Equa- tions, this article explores how science fiction writers predetermine the survival situation, and their value orientation in individualism, ethnicity and nationalism. It argues that,first, different life experience of the writer, different national history and social situation, deter- mine the values presented in different novels; Secondly, the ＂doomsday＂ value in the sci- ence fictions is based on the post-crisis mindsets, which doesn＇t apply to the peaceful word, and only clear and rational thinking can construct the contemporary Chinese cultural value system with true subjectivity and live vitality.
