Determining whethera text, picture, audio, and video ofthe WeChat platform form a work depends on whether it is origi-nal. Personal WeChat users＇ behavior of sharing and forwardingcan be regulated through the rational use of the relevant system;WeChat public account users＇ uploading and forwarding behaviorwithout permission is alleged infringement. The WeChat softwareprovider, Tencent company, merely bears contributory infringe-ment liability when it clearly knows or should know its users＇ il-legal uploading and forwarding.
