Discussion on Grassroots Operation of Agricultural Cooperative Movement: Taking Hubei Province as an Example

建国之后,对农村个体经济进行社会主义改造,实现农业合作化和农业现代化,是中国共产党发展国民经济的重要战略部署。分析20世纪50年代湖北基层地区农业合作化运动的运作情况及存在的问题,来展现20世纪中国农村变革的历史场景,这些分析探讨也可为当前深化农村改革提供若干有益的启示和经验。

After the founding of the PRC, the socialist transforma-tion of the rural individual economy and the realization of agri-cultural cooperation and agricultural modernization is an impor-tant strategic deployment made by the Chinese Communist Partyto develop national economy. This paper analyzes the operationand problems of the agricultural cooperative movement in thegrassroots areas of Hubei in the 1950s, and presents the historicalscenes of China＇s rural transformation in the 20th century. Theseanalyses can also provide some useful inspiration and experiencefor the current agricultural reform.
