Through the combination of SPMT （ self-propelled modular truck）,the whole machine relocation scheme is deter^nined for the short-distance relocation of the portal crane to avoid the sub-dismantling and dismantling cumbersome process of traditional relocation scheme. The whole machine relocation process advances smoothly,which reduces the re-moval time and further save the relocation costs. From this aspect,the whole machine scheme brings significant economic benefits.
