This paper introduces the color image segmentation algorithm in the field of computer vision, including global palette quantization algorithm,quantization algorithm based on chromatic aberration minimum criterion,fuzzy clustering algorithm and region-based segmentation method.Color image segmentation algorithms are diverse in typefunction and use.This paper mainly studies the application of several color image segmentation algorithms from medical industry, griculture,erospace and other fields.The purpose of this study is to broaden the application range of color image segmentation algorithm to promote the modern development of computer.
