由桑珠艺人说唱的藏族著名长篇英雄史诗《格萨尔》分部本《地狱大解脱》具有浓郁的宗教思想,藏传佛教、苯教及藏族原始宗教思想有机地融入其中,这是其不同于其他说唱艺人说唱本之处,表现出桑珠艺人对藏族宗教思想中的灵魂不灭观、因果报应观、幻化观、化身观等有着具有自身特点的理解,使本部《格萨尔》说唱本更具丰富的宗教文化内涵,有助于说唱艺人借助史诗的传唱实现其社会教化之功能。

Picked as an organic part of the famous Tibetan long epic Gesar by narrator and singer Sam-drop, the dmyal - gling thar - pa chen - po has abundant religious thoughts of Tibetan Buddhism, Bon andprimitive religion. It is different from other versions of Gesar epic. Based on the main content of dmyal-gling thar - pa chen - po, it reveals singer ’ s understanding of religious concept of immortality of thesoul,causal relationship, illusion,and reincarnation. These concepts enriched the Gesar epic by religiousthoughts. It also contributed to social enlightenment by telling Gesar epic.
