Alzheimer's disease(AD) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system, the main pathological features of the brain β-amyloid(Aβ) deposition formation of age spots and tau abnormal phosphorylation after the formation of nerve fiber entanglement. In recent years, Krüppellike factor plays an indispensable role in AD pathophysiology. These zinc finger transcription factor family members in cell growth, differentiation, proliferation, migration, apoptosis, metabolism andinflammation have a variety of regulatory functions. Recent evidences suggested that Krüppellike transcription factors were involved in the pathogenesis of AD. The role of the Krüppel-like transcription factor family in the pathogenesis of AD and its associated progression were reviewed.
