Objective To explore the differences in class II Division 1 malocclusion of different vertical facial molar inclination and the relationship between them. Methods 120 cases of class ][I adult patients, including 60 cases of skeletal class I, as the control group; 60 cases of skeletal Class II, as the experimental group. Measurement and analysis of the upper and lower molar inclination of the sample by the lateral radiographs. Results The skeletal class I upper molar inclination relative to the anterior skull base plane, palatal plane of high angle group is larger than in the low angle group, the lower molar inclination relative to the anterior skull base plane, mandibular plane of high angle group larger than in the low angle group; skeletal Class II lower molar inclination relative to the anterior cranial base plane and mandibular plane, palatal plane of the high angle group is greater than low angle group; skeletal class ]/lower molar inclination in high angle group, average angle group relative to the anterior skull base plane and palatal plane is greater than the skeletal class I. Conclusion Skeletal class I high angle group maxillary molars tilt is more distal than low angle group, and the lower molar inclination is more proximal; skeletal Class II lower molar inclination in high angle group is more proximal than low angle group; skeletal class II high angle group, average angle group compared with skeletal class I high angle group, the average angle group lower molar is more mesial tilt significantly.
