An Introduction to the Research on the History of Rhetoric of the Tang Poetry

唐诗修辞史是唐代诗歌语体(文体)修辞的演变史,是中国修辞史、中国诗歌修辞史的有机组成部分。唐诗修辞史研究将专题修辞史和断代修辞史相结合,具有独特的学术价值和应用价值。唐诗修辞史研究面临的背景是唐诗修辞共时研究成果丰富,历时研究基本处于缺位状态;《中国修辞史》问世、唐诗修辞史个案和共时研究为这一研究奠定了前期基础。作为诗歌修辞断代史的典型案例,这一研究内容丰富,旨在填补学术空缺、探索路径,发掘文化基因、传承光大。

The history of rhetoric of the Tang poetry is an evolutionary history of the rhetoric of the Tang poetry genre （style） as well as an integral element of both the history of Chinese rhetoric and poetry. Combining the history of thematic rhetoric with that of dynastic rhetoric, the research on the history of rhetoric of the Tang poetry is of a uniquely academic and practical value. Its background has fruitfully synchronic studies but few diaehronic ones. The publication of The History of Chinese Rhetoric, the case study and the synchronic researches all have laid a good foundation for the early stage. As a typical sample of the history of dynastic rhetoric, it is rich in contents, aiming to fill the academic gaps, discuss the research path, explore the cultural genes, and inherit as well as brighten the researches.
